CHAINE ROAD TRIP TO MALACCA (23rd to 25 April 2015)
Dear Confrere
We are planning our first Road Trip to Malacca, and would like to confirm the following details.
Whilst we would prefer a weekend, this Road Trip is
planned for a Thursday to Saturday, to avoid severe congestion at the
immigration and highways.
The itinerary:
Thursday 23 Apr
9.30am Convoy
(self-drive) departs Singapore.
11am Convoy
stops at Tangkak Beef Noodles (near Malacca)
12.30pm Depart
for Equatorial Melaka
1.30pm Arrive
at the Hotel (Free upgrade from regular rooms to superior)
Welcome
cocktail
4.30pm Proceed to River Cruise and Dinner
10pm Cigar +
Night Cap
Friday 24 Apr
10am Heritage
Tour on Heeren Street, visit to Tan Kim Seng Mansion, Peranakan Jewellery led
by local Chaine member

8.30am Golf
tee-off at Tiara (RM110 for 18holes)
12pm Lunch
2pm Go-Kart
Friendly (Budget RM90 for 3 x 10 minute
sessions)
7pm Cocktails
7.30pm Joint
Singapore - Malaysia Chaine Dinner.

and return to Singapore

New Year greetings from your Conseil National, Bailliage de Singapour. May the
year ahead bring Good Health, Happiness, Success and Great Fulfillment in
everything that you do. May it also be a year of wonderful culinary experiences
for you and your family.
2015
will be a landmark year for the Bailliage de Singapour as we celebrate the 40th
anniversary of our establishment. Our Bailliage has grown from strength to
strength and we are now in the enviable position as one of the most active
Chaine Bailliages in the world with well supported events scheduled every
month, and healthy reserves of wine and funds that have been built up over the
years through your support and the careful stewardship of successive Conseils.
The
celebrations will centre on 2 main events during the year, namely the Annual
General Meeting(AGM) on March 15, and the Chapitre on October 24. Do set aside
these 2 dates in your calendar to join us in celebration.
The
Conseil National has recently finalised the event calendar for 2015, and I have
pleasure in providing you with the dates so that you can plan ahead to join us
at these events.
